If you have a question that is not resolved below, email us
and we'll do our best to answer it. Q. When will I get paid when I win? A. Race winners checks are mailed about 4-5 days after each race (except for the first race of the season, because of valid (but late) entries received via snail mail in which case checks are mailed a day or two later than normal). End of Season winner's checks are mailed approx. 30 days after the season has ended. Q. What if all of the drivers in the provisional drivers group qualify for a race (and don't have to take a provisional)? A. Where a driver qualifies for a race doesn't matter. Your team's provisional starter driver can be any of the drivers in the provisional driver group, irrespective of where they actually qualify for a race. For example, if one of the drivers of the provisional driver group starts on the pole, he is still your team's provisional driver! The provisional driver group contains a list of drivers that you may choose from to be your team's provisional starter driver. On the other hand, if say Terry Labonte has to take a provisional for a race. You can't elect Terry Labonte for your team's provisional driver if he is listed in the one of the Core Team driver groups. Q. What if I make a mistake when making driver changes? A. At the bottom of the Driver Changes Page, you will see the Review Changes button. Click on this button and it displays a page that shows all of the changes you have made for this race. If you want to reverse a change that has been made, simply click on Back Out. When you do this, the driver you had changed "from" will be set as the driver for that group and a driver change will be added back to your driver change total. Q. What if I find an error with my team score or drivers? A. We make an occasional mistake. Each week you will be mailed a team stats sheet, which besides listing how your team did in the race and your overall standings, it lists the car numbers for your team. You are responsible for checking processing results and your team makeup for accuracy. For example, if you made a driver change and a mistake was made, call it in immediately. We will make adjustments to your team when it is brought to our attention but we will only go back ONE race from the time we are notified. Q. What if my driver is injured and can't drive? A. That's part of racing luck, but... we go by car number and NOT by driver name. So if you're driver is injured or sick and can't compete in a race, you'll either have to make an (unplanned) driver change or you will get the points that a substitute or relief driver earns driving that car in the race. Let's say Mark Martin gets injured in practice for a race and isn't cleared to drive and Roush Racing gets Lake Speed to drive the #6 car in place of Martin. If you have the #6 car and don't make a change, you will get the points that the #6 car will earn. Q. Can I pick any driver not listed on the driver selection lists as my team's provisional driver? A. No! Only the drivers listed as "provisional starter drivers" may be used. Q. Is there a deadline for making driver changes? A. Absolutely NOT! Driver changes can be made up to the dropping of the green flag for a race. We've had driver change calls come in on the parade lap of a race. However, IF YOU'RE CALLING IN A DRIVER CHANGE on our Toll FREE number, line availability CANNOT be guaranteed, so please try to make your driver changes well ahead of time. Q. How are driver groups determined? A. It's not a science. Driver groupings are based partly on past performance, driver popularity, potential performance, and just plain guessing! |
